Dr. B. R. Ambedkar National Institute of Technology Jalandhar is also known as NIT Jalandhar. It is  is an Autonomous Institute located in Jalandhar.NIT Jalandhar has got AICTE and UGC Accrediation.

Dr. B. R. Ambedkar National Institute of Technology provides admissions in Bachelor and Masters degree of Engineering in Chemical Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Civil Engineering,Electronics and Communication Engineering and other available speciisations .IIT Jalandhar also offers masters degree in Management.

NIT Jalandhar is a well ranked university,recently it was ranked 74 by NIRF for 2018 in engineering Department.

The main campus of the institute is devided into three different fuctional zones named as 

• institution zone for teaching departments/centers/administration
• residential zone for the faculty and staff
• students’ hostel zone.
