SGT University was established in the year 2013 with the motive to impart education in the field of Engineering, Management, Law, Applied Sciences, Health Sciences, Commerce, Medical, Computer Applications, Arts, Education and Nursing. At present, the university is offering B.Tech, B. Pharm, BA, BHM, B.Sc, B.Com, BBA, LL.B, B.Ed courses along with B.Sc (Nursing) and BPT at the UG level. At the PG level, SGT University offers MA, M.Sc, MBA, MCA, M.Tech, M.Pharm, M.Ed courses along with MPT, M.Sc (Nursing), M.Sc (Medical), MPT, MD, MS and MDS. Application form for all the courses can be filled from the official website. Admission to all the UG and PG courses is merit-based. Final seat is confirmed on the basis of a counselling round conducted by the university. JEE Main qualified candidates are also eligible for admission. For MBA program, CAT/ MAT or XAT qualified candidates are also considered for the admission. Apart form merit, GATE passed candidates are also eligible for admission. MBBS & BDS admission is based on a valid score in NEET UG conducted at the Al India level. MDS and MD/ MS admission is subject to candidates’ score in NEET MDS and NEET PG respectively. SGT University conducts a separate entrance test followed by an interview to offer admission in M.Phil & Ph.D. courses. The university also offers several scholarships in the form of tuition fee relaxation to the those who have performed well in the qualifying examination.

 The university offers MBBS and BDS courses in full-time mode at the undergraduate level. Candidates with 10+2 (PCM) are eligible to apply. Admission is offered on the basis of a valid score in NEET UG followed by counselling conducted at the national level.

B.Tech and B.Pharm and D.Pharm courses are offered in various specializations in full-time mode. 10+2 with PCM/ B is the minimum eligibility criteria for admission.  At the undergraduate level, SGT University offers BA, B.Sc, B.Com, LL.B, Integrated LL.B, BBA, B. Des and B. Ed courses in various disciplines. 10+2 is the minimum eligibility criteria for admission except for LL.B nad B.Ed for which Graduation or equivalent degree is a must. Admission to all the courses is granted on the basis of marks in 10+2. Shortlisted candidates need to appear for counselling and document verification at the university campus.

 In the UG Medical domain, SGT University offers BPT, B.Sc (Nursing), B.Sc (Medical), B.Optom, BPT, BASLP, BNYS & BAMS courses along with Lateral Entry admission for certain B.Sc (Medical) specializations. 10+2 in the cognate subject group is the minimum required eligibility criteria. Candidates are selected on the basis of their marks in 10+2.

At the postgraduate level, the university also offers M.Tech, MBA and MCA courses in various streams. BE/ B.Tech in the related subject is the desired eligibility criteria for M.Tech while a Bachelor’s degree is sufficient for MBA and MCA courses. GATE and CAT/ MAT/ XAT qualified candidates will be preferred at the time of admission to M.Tech and MBA courses respectively. MCA admission is completely merit-based.  SGT University offers MD, MS and MDS courses in various streams along with PG Diploma. BDS from a recognized institution is the desired eligibility criteria for MDS while MBBS is required for admission to MD and MS courses. NEET MDS score is required for MDS program and a valid score in NEET PG is mandatory to secure admission in MD and MS courses.

 At the postgraduate level, the university offers MA, M.Sc, LL.M, M.Des, MHM, MSW & M.Ed courses in different specializations. Graduation is the relevant discipline is mandatory in order to be eligible for admission in these courses. Merit in the last qualifying examination is the optimum admission criteria. Final admission is subject to counselling conducted by the university for the shortlisted candidates.

In PG Medical division, the university offers M.Pharm, M.Sc (Nursing), M.Sc (Medical), M.Optom & MPT courses in various disciplines. Graduation in the related discipline is a mandatory eligibility criteria for admission. Admission to all the courses is merit-based. Master’s degree in the relevant subject with at least 55% marks in aggregate is the minimum eligibility criteria for admission.
